What's the Big Opportunity in the Music Industry?
When I started talking with the Twitch team, that was the cell was even though it's known for video games at its core, it is creators building a community around fans and just regularly engaging with them. And of course, you know, COVID had started taking off when I joined; what we started to see was actually musicians are making significant money. The average viewership for those making $50,000 or more has 183 fans: That doesn't make sense because everyone is taught in the world where you need millions of followers.
