The Definition of Evangelicalism
It's a slippery question of what exactly isn't evangelical, what is evangelicalism. Donald Dayton was one of the early folks in the 20th century US evangelical context who started to push back on this idea of a kind of canonical narrative of the evangelical story. Part of what I'm arguing is that there's now to try to rein back into your question of this like death, to this definitional question.
