The federal reserve system is a private institution. Thats shareholders. The banks in those branches technically own the shares of the fed, but it's not like we're distributing profits or anything else. So really that comes down to is ar the federal reserve, you know, the federal reserve,. each of these 12 branche boards are they working for their shareholders? Because they're ppointed by their shareholders.
