We settle down on God and then flicker and fly away here and there. We don't, we don't stay with it, steadily. Few months, few years is enough for enlightenment. That's all we need to do in life. The rest will take care of itself. Our problem is either people are not interested, but here we are all interested. So why aren't we attaining enlightenment? It's because we are interested. This description of the lineage of sages and the glorification of the knowledge, it's advertisement.

Swami Sarvapriyananda teaches the Mundaka Upanishad which one of the major Upanishads belonging to the Atharva Veda. Mundaka means ''shaved'' like a shaved head. The teachings revealed in this Upanishad are meant to leave the student clean, or shaved of the veil of ignorance. Indeed, the study of this Upanishad has been traditionally confined to the shaven-heads, or the sannyasins, who have renounced everything and devoted themselves exclusively to contemplation.
