How do you try to coax someone out of the friend enemy distinction? I don't think that there's a common characteristic or trait that i've observed in people that have that position, have that viewpoint. And usually these are people who don't want a stereotype, ad don't wants a caricature. Often they will see how insisting upon this paradime and this paradime alone is an act of pigeon holling the very people whose liberation they claim to want. One of the things that i am trying to also model though, is not always winning the argument, but rather cultivating ampathy.
