Does Something Have to Be Historical to Be Scriptural?
There's universal consensus that Job is not a historical text, though many are unaware of that. The story of Esther is an additional text whose historicity is questioned. As you get closer to the study of these biblical texts, you start to see contradictions in dates and locations. To me, it's not so much an issue of trust, but it's coming at it with tools and trusting yourself.
