The Mysenian Civilization in Greece
The Indo-Europeans arrived in Greece around 2000 BC. Archaeological evidence indicates that sites throughout the region were sacked and burned by invaders at different times. The Mysenian civilization, on Crete, was a very old and advanced civilization which had its language ancestor of Classical Greek.
