Ralph: One way that people can play this type of market where it's very uncertain is with the option business. There's nothing wrong with buying one call on Apple computer or whatever, but don't trade them by a call, hold it till expiration. And you can diversify your portfolio with a small amount of money and say, okay, if they go to hell in a hand basket, then I've managed my portfolio properly.
