i think this idea of reparenting and like parenting ourselves has become very popular. i think a lot of people are realizing that maybe they didn't get all the parenting from their primary caregivers. Maybe some mothering of the self is necessary before they even think about becoming a mother themselves. It serves all of us if some of us are available as you know stand-ins to help each other out.
