CCIP Read: DNS Integration for ENS
One of the things that CCIP read actually enables is the ability to do all of this gaslessly. So now instead of having to submit the transaction to claim the name, you can actually just generate a proof that you claim the name. And that can be verified at the time you resolve it in your browser or wallet. That removes the need to spend any gas at all and makes it possible to integrate the entirety of DNS into ENS. We hope to have it rolled out differently this quarter and hopefully in the next month to six weeks.
