The Hooker Chemical Company
In the late 18 hundreds, a man came in to build a canal. And we'll talk about how the canal got built and what happened because it never really got finished. A hooker chemical company started just dumping chemicals in barrels that weren't probably sealed properly at a and all over town. By the seventies, they were leeching. I mean, there were stories of people on the playground or people in their yards, where things would spontaneously combust and go on fire. The creeks, some of the creeks were bright orange.
