In inner city Brooklyn, Kings County, one of those states like Bellevue. I kept saying all these black and brown people in inner patient psychiatry, they're not depressed. People are suffering from individual trauma, collective trauma, cultural trauma, historical trauma. That's always been the driving thing behind how I perceive and how I proceed when I'm working with somebody is a real investment and interest in seeing them be well.
