Do You Think Russia Is Trying to Play Catch Up?
Russia has announced new laws banning the use of most private messaging applications in the Russian government and state agency. This is partly to do with the sort of telegram messages that are going around, some of which have perceived to be at least critical of the war effort. It's trying to stop ways in which that information A can be leaked to the West, but also could be leaked to people like Anonymous or even their own members of the Russian public. What they're trying to do is limit the damage.
