The Importance of Restoration From Exile
The book is a kind of restoration from exile theme that's going on in the book, right? Exile and restoration. It surfaces as suffering and then glory, humility, then exaltation. Peter does all of these things, but I think they are all trying to get at the mystery of living in the overlap of the ages.
