The Importance of Amen
In Hebrew, amen comes from the same root as the word believe. Amen both expresses God's faithfulness to us and our trust in him. The phrase that I love to hear in my heart is "I stake my life on this" when it comes to receiving Holy Communion. If you are not present in the Eucharist, then I am worshiping something that doesn't deserve worship.
