This is what Popper means by theory-laden observation. There's nothing like this at all in the objectivist epistemology of iron-rand. We have much work to do to interpret what we think we see. Nature doesn't give us perfect senses. What do you think an optical illusion is? Look that up if you don't know it. I'm going to come back to this. He says, One observes the facts of realities. Notice similarities of various things observed within a context or an abstraction from the background which requires a type of selective mental focus. End quote.
