I wouldn't say that the politicians assumes the voters are stupid, but I would say I believe politicians assume the voters don't care. And this goes back to one of our most popular episodes to date when we talked about people making decisions from the basis of principle versus the basis of outcome. Half of America said A back in May, the other half said B and today they were completely reversed with the first half saying B and the second half saying A,. why? Because neither side embraced the principles. One of the overriding principles here should be peace. That is you don't go and tear down and destroy property.
