Punk rock was a grass roots community of people that were doing it all themselves. It was also filled with this ethically suffocating punk rock manifesto, right? Right? And so, i mean, to be perfectly honest, i was more attracted to the independence and the musicality of what was going on or lack of socality. I thought it as very cool.
