Confession Has Two Parts
Luther is not an antinomian, but so back to the tax, confession has two parts. And I love this analogy, I hope this is helpful for our heroes. There's not three parts. You always have a two-sided coin, and likewise, confession will always have two parts. This is illustrated by the parable of the lost son, otherwise known as the prodigal son in Luke 15,. His father only allows him to confess; he can't make satisfaction out of sin.
