A lot of people think they have a career when they're just doing a prolonged suicide ritual, he says. But if you start letting yourself for periods of five, ten, 20 minutes a day, just be what you are, that's pretty profound and incredible to him. "I don't know what i would recommend, other than stop torturing yourself for a little bit," the singer adds.
