The Skepticism of the DOJ

The DOJ has a track record of having fabricated the Russia gate investigation, which mired the Trump administration for several years. The Bragg indictment, which came out of New York, was basically insane. And it's hard to argue that would apply to anyone else because it literally has never applied to anyone else ever before. They've created a new standard whereby they're not actually naming the original crime he did and upped it to a felony.
