Fool yourself into believing that your romantic partner is the one to be able to open yourself up to actual failure. When my brother first fell in love there was no rational argument I could give for him that would somehow break the illusion of the one that had to break for him. There's something about the inherent structure of the unfolding or the development of spirit, where we have to be duped by an illusion. We have to go through that illusion many times it's been broken the one has been broken. What happens in my experience is when this illusion is progressively broken, is we get a deeper awareness of the flexibility of the unconscious. That means you have to gothrough a phase of disillusion
