Is It Necessary to Do Kidney Disease Early?

If we can capture kidney disease early, either as a target organ damage in these patients or as a cause of their hypertension, I think it's just helpful because it lets us sort of frame our thinking of how we're going to manage them. And what do you think? Is it necessary to send would you have sent these same things or there's been some recent stuff about the aldosterone levels are not necessarily reliable. Maybe we should be looking whether the renin suppressed and starting based on that. But yeah, I wouldn't check a cortisol necessarily unless he's diabetic and has some central obesity and some other signs of potentially having cushing.
