Confessional Statements

Our confession is generic in its statements about last things, and it's designed to be that way. They purposefully don't state explicitly a particular position because there are different views among the churches. We ought to recognize that they purposefully designed it to be inclusive of the baptistic congregationalists or of particular baptists. It lets you know that this isn't treating the confession in a way that it wasn't designed to be treated.
