The Tsunami on Taiwan

This one in 1935 was the deadliest quake of all time or at least since records of earthquakes on Taiwan were recorded. Almost 3,300 people were killed and 12,000 injured and over 50,000 residences were damaged or destroyed. This one took place 150 kilometers to the north in San Yi. Not far from the border of Biau Lee County and Taijong City. Shinchikou was the new Japanese name for the city of Shinchu and Tachu was Taijong. All the names of places were Japanified.
