Inflation is still quite a few basis points or a few percentage points above the interest rates. I suspect that the Bank of England is going to just keep going on this until it sees the whites of a recession's eyesBasically, until it can see that an inflationist come and it's truly ringing inflation out of the economy in that way. But given the persistence of core inflation, i.e. with most of the supply shock effect stripped away, we're getting some kind of wage push to inflation,. I think the Bank ofEngland is just going to keep hammering rates up and up and up.
