The Taiwan Miracle

In the 1980s, Min Wu was on a mission to come home and open one of the earliest semiconductor factories in Taiwan. The effort to bring Taiwanese talent home would ultimately be part of building a critical Silicon shield for Taiwan. Two offices in California maintain data on nearly 3,000 engineers and computer scientists information they make available to Taiwanese talent scouts.
