On Friday nights, Jews are allowed to have one glass of nanoshevits wine with Shabbat services. Daniel Sperling says the alcohol and companionship on Friday night really helped him get through a year-long deployment. But knowing that there was somebody out there who was there watching out for us "helped us find the spiritual support network"
