The fundamental assumption that lies at the heart of our world culture is the belief that it is I this body that is aware. Most people, even most scientists and neurologists presume this fact of experience. It's such a fundamental presumption that they do not even realize that it is a presumption. They just think it is reality. And if anybody challenges them, they respond to that challenge from the basis of their assumption.
