Is There a Competition Between Carlos Beltran and Eric Chavez?

Carlos Beltran and Eric Chavez could be in a competition for the Mets manager's job when his contract is up. Steve Cohen grew up a Mets fan he knows exactly the kind of person that Carlos Beltran is so I can definitely see that being more of a favoritism aspect there if that time wherever to come. The astro stuff especially for the Mets fan base is completely behind them but yeah I can see down the road and we're talking in just a couple short years a potential competition between Beltran andEric Chavez.
