The Sermon on the Mount: The Door of the Sheep

The Sermon on the Mount is meant to lead us to a place of recognizing our own people. Jesus says I'm the door and if anyone enters by me he will be saved. The invitation is always come to Jesus. We live in a city in a pluralistic age, but we're not in a less religious age. In a humanistic age the secular religion is wrapped up in the priests and prophets of the modern day. They're the influencers on our social media. They're celebrities on our televisions and in our movies. Not even necessarily spiritual but religion is our attempts human attempts to bring ultimate meaning to life to find a purpose for existence.
