This is a post-COVID economy. The rules from 2019 and before on how the economy is supposed to behave don't apply anymore. We did something extraordinary in 2022, which is going to define the economy for the rest of our life. It's no longer an orange and quit waiting for an orange when you've got a banana. Once we get past all that then we can start talking about returning to 2% inflation.
