The Perfect Abstract Truths of Mathematics

Is there an end to finding the constituents of matter? Is it the case that just a bit provocative. Quarks are excitations of a field so in some sense they're wave light. But those waves actually are the vibrations of smaller particles still. Which are caused by waves that are smaller still and so on you keep going on forever. There is no end to this search. or is there just a brute factor of the matter where the electron is fundamental. Or some smaller particle 10 theories down the road. Well whatever the truth of that is that's the fact of the matter. And our knowledge of that is stands apart from it. Ultimate reality and our knowledge of reality are two separate things
