What's Happened to the Internet in China?

I think what's really noticeable about the protests that erupted across China a few months ago was that they were normally about censorship. The state censorship apparatus often picks out what is seen as negative speech, or seen as spreading negative sentiment and censoring those. So it's kind of creating this kind of false toxic positivity as a mockery of that. We find the information that we're sharing relevant to our lives and important at a time of such great uncertainty.
