The New Testament Authors Affirm the Deity of Christ Without Saying That He Is God the Father
New Testament writers wrangled every way that they could to assert the deity of Christ without saying that He is God the Father. They did not believe that the Father had become incarnate and died on the cross, that somehow the Father was no longer in heaven. To say Jesus is Hafaias would be to say that Jesus is the Father. And this is not what the New Testament writers wanted to say.
