The History of Cholera
With no modern medicine, many people in the 1800s ended up dying from cholera. The city soon needed more area for burial grounds outside of populated areas. So they took the orchard space next to the hospital of Ben-Lenn and changed it into a cemetery. Today, what remains of the cemetery still open day and night to visitors.
