Osi's story reveals so much about what most people just don't know. There's an entire giant global market for buying traffic. It can range from really low quality stuff, to other ways of buying traffic that are considered a little more accessible. In the most extreme example of this, you have people who create bots instead of humans viewing content. They create bots that look like human that pass some of the advertising pilters to check for quality. Once you've got bots that are passing people's filters, well, you can just generate as much fake traffic as you want and earn as much money as you want.
