The Cost of Civilization

I think a lot of people really renounce pleasure. You can't be lonely if you don't have the context of other people to feel estranged from. There's this incredible relief when you realize how contextualized loneliness is. And there's been these nice moments where we kind of recognize that, you know, I'm lonely, but I'm also, I'm all right.
