What Is Parsimony?
Parsimony, it's just this idea that you shouldn't increase the number of assumptions beyond what is absolutely necessary in order to get your explanation across. In my mind, it's the same as ockam's raisor. And so proliferating the bricks and mortar is not a violation of parsimony. It's an endorsement of it, ats a correct use of it.
