What I've Learned From the Experience in Pittsburg

In the seventies, Pittsburg adopted land value taxation as a methodology for their city. From the seventies through the eighties, they experienced the least amount of teardowns of any of the large american cities. In pittsburg, what they did is, rather than tear the building down, i can at least get some rent off my property just by lowering the rent. If i eliminate the building, i'll still have to pay a higher tax threshold.
