The punitive nature of the just ice system has zero correlation to the likelihood of someone committing a crime. So i think there's a, it's a really misconstrued connecton with ik. And actually being harder isn't this solution. We should be deliberate about punishment, but w harder is notnessarily better. Actually, just being more effective will be much better.
