A Gay Black Woman and Black Trans Women Can Be Left Out at That Moment

The concept of intersectionality says those at the intersection of multiple minority in victim groups have more insight to bring to society. By this reckoning, a gay black woman speaks with greater moral authority than a heterosexual white man. Jesus was subject to herrific injustice on multiple fronts, and yet, interestingly, he never styled himself as a victim. He willingly stepped into the worst form of cruelty and injustice. The very charges brought against him showed what he understood to be happening. We see in him ultimate power being used to serve the very weakest. Could there be a more timely message in our own day?
