I think there should be some sort of mechanism to transfer ownership of crates. Some languages like the ones posted on the library page, like crates that I owe, it may be out of date but then they have a stable branch usually that works. That's kind of one of my pet peeves with cargo is some projects are get abandoned and it's like, oh, I found this project and I'd want to contribute what is abandoned, so I need to fork it. And you just see a bunch of people talking about it on the PR. Maybe I'm going crazy. Have you heard this or though? I've heard the need of it, but I haven't really heard the details
