The founders and company did a great job of like insulating themselves from the echo chambers of Silicon Valley, he says. But that meant when they went to go build anchor, "we didn't really know how fundraising worked" And I guess, you know, somewhat to the early products credit, there were some unique and novel things about it but again, it wasn't working.
