The story has a kind of immortality that is both extraordinary, but then also maybe it is also there's something rotten about it too. I was watching a video with a guy who was an expert in Greek mythology. And he's talking about like how some of these Greek myths have their origins probably in even earlier African stories. But they're all very much versions of things that are really, really old.
