The Advantages of Bayesian Modeling in Healthcare

The typical model that we have is fairly complex because first of all, we are not interested in seeing whether my drug is better than placebo. That's not the decision that we're trying to make. So most likely what you will have to do is to combine different data sources. We've been working on models that had 100 parameters or I don't know how many other modules which might talk to each other if it becomes a little more complicated. And then the marginal incrementing complexity that a Bayesian modeling can offer offsets the advantage is offset by the advantage that you have.
