Father Murphy's Story
Father Hugh Murphy was kidnapped on June 18, 1978 in Northern Ireland. Two hooded men forced him into a car and put a coal sack over his head. Father Murphy is certain he's going to die regardless of what happens with the kidnap police officer. Protestant spiritual leader Reverend Ian Paisley had made a public appeal to the kidnappers to return Father Murphy unharmed.
