Is There a Conservatism in the United States?
Yett: The term conservative has come down to mean two different things. One wants to conserve as much as possible while maintaining allegiance with the current regime. Other says there are certain fundaments that are absolutely necessary, and loss of which means we will not have a free society. Yett: It's just gotten to the point that people are talking about an international liberal order based on individual liberties. They're not talking about tradition any more. Those questions are just just gone. And it's time for a, ah, it's, it's time to part way.
