How to Tell if an Athlete Is Having Better Variability

Coaches might intuitively see it, but just how to tell if an athlete is having better variability t the thing that comes to mind is maybe, like, you could just have em stand on one leg, and quickly can they make adjustments to not fall over? So i think that's a really exciting avenuey. I agree there's tny part of being in a good coach, as you you learn those patterns to pick em up. Without some fancy tracking equipment, you not measuring angles.
