humor has become, I think, a really challenging thing to deal with in today's workplace. Jokes that would have been acceptable and thought of as sort of fresh and interesting a number of years ago now have a way of giving offense to a lot of people. Anything that pertains specifically to someone's looks or appearances is really out of bounds. But very importantly, we cannot ban humor from the workplace. We absolutely can't do it. It is one of the most important qualities that helps people bond and create relationships.
